Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks a Corporate Fleet Manager (Finance) to lead our fleet program. You will develop and execute strategies, manage acquisitions and disposals, and drive cost efficiency across all fleets while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong financial controls.

You will oversee vendor relations, fuel programs and safety initiatives, providing leadership to multiple departments and ensuring assets maximize ROI across communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management or equivalent area of study required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum seven (7) years of fleet management experience.
• Managed in-house maintenance for a fleet of 250+ vehicles for at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of electronic fleet management systems, telematics and performance reporting.
• Strong P&L, forecasting, and budgeting experience.
• Experience with life-cycle costing of fleet assets.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans and executes a company-wide fleet strategy, including budget, policies, programs and procedures.
• Develops and executes life cycle strategy for vehicle replacements, equipment, and graphics; analyzes mileage, repair costs and depreciation; advises on lease versus buy decisions.
• Plans, coordinates and executes all vehicle acquisitions, graphics, leasing, delivery and disposal for current communities and acquisitions.
• Monitors and reports on fleet performance, utilization, maintenance costs and safety metrics; provides recommendations for improvements.
• Maintains records and ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws, permits, licenses and insurance.
• Oversees DOT related training, compliance, reporting, and audit process for CMV and CDL drivers and develops a driver safety program.
• Establishes relationships with vendors and vehicle manufacturers to optimize fleet efficiency and minimize costs.
• Implements and monitors a comprehensive fuel program to minimize costs and theft exposure.
• Supports departments in Capital Expense Requests and reports purchases/disposals to Accounting.
