Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, logistics, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of fleet management, transportation compliance, or logistics operations.
• Direct interstate/DOT-regulated fleet compliance experience preferred.
• Experience with fleet acquisition, leasing, and disposal.
• CAFM/CAFS certification preferred.
• Strong vendor negotiation and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day truck and trailer fleet operations with production schedules.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance for local and interstate operations.
• Maintain trailer compliance, inspections, tagging, and cargo securement.
• Develop and enforce fleet safety policies and driver qualifications.
• Manage fleet acquisition, leasing, and disposal with vendors.
• Own fleet budget and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain fleet records and KPI reporting for leadership.
• Coordinate with fleet vendors, fuel cards, insurers, and maintenance shops.
• Support sales and production with vehicle availability for OTIF lines.
• Design company vehicle policy framework for future sales fleet.
