Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with coursework in accounting, finance, public or business administration or a related field.
  • Three years of progressively more responsible professional level experience in a large fund accounting system, including grant preparation, budget preparation, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, data processing, and database administration.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in policy making and program development with other administrative personnel.
  • Assists in directing, planning, and organizing county-wide financial management, reporting, and accounting functions.
  • Supports the Director of Fiscal Services ensuring compliance with accounting rules, laws, and reporting.
  • Provides financial analyses of administrative operations along with budget recommendations.
