Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban/Community Planning, Business Administration, Finance, Technical Writing, or a closely related field.
• Three to five years of writing, securing, and administering public sector grants.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Position starts after January 1st, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Identify, secure, and manage external funding to support county initiatives.
• Oversee the grant lifecycle from research to post-award compliance.
• Prepare competitive proposals with data-driven supporting materials.
• Monitor budgets, performance reporting, and funding utilization.
