Job summary

MITRE seeks a Lead Fires Systems Engineer for its USPACOM project at Camp Smith, Hawaii. You will be the primary MITRE interface to USPACOM and Service Components, guiding fires initiatives and non-kinetic integration within a joint framework.

Role requires advanced system-of-systems engineering expertise, DoD familiarity, and strong communication skills. On-site presence is required at least 3 days per week, supporting critical national security missions.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field with 8 years of experience, or BA with 8+ years; Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Minimum 3 days on-site per week; willingness to work at Camp Smith, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage sponsor, MITRE, and stakeholder relationships with USPACOM Fires.
• Shape/cohesive systems engineering development and campaign plans for USPACOM.
• Increase collaboration on experimentation between USPACOM, Service Components, and Services.
