Job summary

Atlas Search, a growing PE-backed consumer brands company, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to own financial reporting as the company scales through acquisitions. This role will lead GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, support audits, and drive technical accounting research.

The candidate will manage reporting packages for management, monitor new accounting standards, and assist with integration of acquisitions, while handling ad hoc requests as the business grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Technical accounting experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Own preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under GAAP.
• Support the annual audit alongside the external audit firm.
• Prepare reporting packages for management and other stakeholders.
• Lead technical accounting research and memo writing, including debt-related matters.
• Monitor and communicate the impact of new accounting standards.
• Support financial integration for new acquisitions.
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests as the business grows.
