Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

Location: In-Office – Miami, FL, ~4 days/week onsite

Reports To: Director of Financial Reporting

Direct Reports: None; individual contributor with executive exposure

Position Summary

The Manager of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting will own SEC reporting preparation, technical accounting research, and multi-entity consolidations across a growing platform of operating entities. This is a high-visibility role supporting acquisition activity and strengthening public-company-level financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
• Lead technical accounting research and draft policy memos for complex transactions
• Manage multi-entity consolidations (10+ entities; primarily U.S.-based)
• Support acquisition accounting including purchase price accounting and integration
• Partner with external auditors and support SOX-aligned internal control initiatives

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 5+ years combined public accounting and industry experience
• Strong foundation in SEC reporting and US GAAP technical research
• Experience with consolidations and complex accounting areas (ASC 805, ASC 810 exposure preferred)
• ERP experience (NetSuite preferred); advanced Excel required
• Clear communicator comfortable working directly with executive leadership
• Office-first structure with strong executive access
• CFO and VP of Accounting closely involved in finance build-out
