Job summary

AtlasBase seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting and financial operations as we build a new technology category. You will report to the CFO and drive accuracy, controls, and scalable systems to support rapid growth.

You will partner with executives to deliver strategic insights, manage cash flow, and oversee audits, tax, and external reporting in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting/finance; Controller or senior role.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and audit experience.
• Experience in a high-growth tech/biotech/hardware startup.
• Ability to design scalable accounting processes and systems.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, and forward-looking modeling.
• High attention to detail and strong financial acumen.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel/Sheets.
• Ability to lead strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting: GL, AP/AR, payroll, month-end close.
• Ensure GAAP compliance including revenue recognition, leases, R&D costs, and stock-based compensation.
• Develop internal controls and scalable accounting policies.
• Lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning with executives.
• Manage annual audit and tax with external auditors and advisors.
• Implement and manage accounting systems and infrastructure for a growing startup.
• Support financial modeling and cost analysis for business decisions.
• Partner with Ops, R&D, and Sales to track project costs and performance.
• Prepare board-level financial reports and investor communications.
• Communicate company performance via dashboards and KPIs to executives.
