Job summary

PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, coordinate audits, and strengthen internal controls. The role requires 8+ years in accounting/financial reporting, CPA preferred, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience leading audits, technical accounting issues, and month-end/quarter-end close activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex accounting matters to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process with complete, accurate reports delivered on schedule.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
• Oversee external reporting, including statutory reporting and lender or stakeholder disclosures.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support timely resolution of findings.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and remediation of gaps.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, variance analyses, and reporting packages.
• Partner with finance, tax, treasury, legal, operations, and systems teams to improve reporting quality.
• Monitor GAAP changes and implement new requirements; drive process improvement and automation.
