The role emphasizes contract negotiation, risk management, and disciplined financial execution in a project-based environment, with focus on governance and continuous improvement to enable strong business results.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, commercial risk, contract management, or project-based environments.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Construction or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with legal, contractual, commercial risk, or claims-related matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and commercial risk team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with operations and senior leadership to influence planning, decision-making, and performance outcomes.
• Manage and enhance district financial reporting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
• Lead contract reviews, drafting, and negotiation activities to protect PCL’s interests.
• Oversee insurance, bonding, and performance securities to meet contractual and corporate requirements.
• Drive governance, continuous improvement, and adherence to policies and procedures.
