LCS is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst, Financial Planning in Des Moines, IA. The role centers on advanced financial analysis, managing forecast components, and partnering with stakeholders to drive decision-making. Expect ownership of forecast segments and ongoing model development.

Job Description

The Senior Finance Analyst, Financial Planning is responsible for performing more complex financial analysis and supporting planning cycles with increased ownership. This role independently manages portions of the forecast, develops insights, and begins partnering with stakeholders to support decision-making.

This role performs work under general supervision and handles moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform forecast-to-forecast and forecast-to-actual variance analysis with clear explanations

• Support onboarding and informal guidance of junior analysts
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Economics, or related field; or equivalent years of experience
• 2-4 years of relevant FP&A or financial analysis experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements and forecasting methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning systems (e.g., Adaptive preferred)
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills

Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
