Job summary

NAVFAC OSF is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to support the Financial Management Support Line. You will perform advanced financial management analyses across budget formulation, justification, execution, and strategic financial operations for program activities.

The role requires expertise in federal financial policy, internal controls, and reporting to ensure accuracy, audit readiness, and robust resource allocation across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience at GS-13 level or equivalent.
• Experience interpreting federal financial policy and applying laws/regulations.
• Developing financial policies, internal controls, and risk mitigation.
• Performing financial studies for large and complex programs of national significance.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced financial management analyses for budget formulation, justification, and execution.
• Advise management on financial policy and guidance for budgets.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and evaluate funding strategies.
• Apply accounting, internal control, and financial reporting principles to ensure data integrity.
