Job summary

Medical College of Wisconsin seeks a Finance Analyst to perform basic-to-complex financial analyses supporting departmental budgets, productivity benchmarks, business plans, and forecasting models. The role involves ad hoc duties and collaboration with practice leadership to enable informed decision-making.

The candidate will present analyses to executives, work with stakeholders at multiple levels, and contribute to process improvements in a nimble healthcare finance environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Minimum required experience: 5 years in a Healthcare Finance or Financial Environment.
• Preferred education: Master's in Business Administration.
• Preferred experience: Previous experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs financial analysis, analyzes P&L statements, and prepares accurate and timely reporting to enable decision-making by practice leadership.
• Provides financial support in business development and assessment of potential new business opportunities.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement to internal financial/business processes.
• Assists management with analysis and implementation of financial/business process improvements.
• Supports financial analysis for Provider Workforce Planning.
• Assists in maintaining the Affiliate Support Funds Flow model.
• Supports development and review of departmental and practice-wide budget initiatives.
• Prepare ad hoc requests as assigned.
• Oversee special projects as assigned.
