Job summary

Rocket is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial strategy and informed decision-making across the organization. You will conduct quantitative analyses of budgets, expenses, investments, and economic trends to support senior leadership with timely insights.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting, analyze financial statements, and develop models to guide strategic decisions. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A, ideally in mortgage banking or a high-volume financial services environment.
• Strong proficiency with financial modeling, Power BI tools, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for financial procedures, plans, and controls
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure accuracy of all financial information and economic indicators
• Collect, compile, and verify financial data for assigned accounts, products, or business units to track organizational progress against financial goals and identify variances
• Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments and transactions to help senior leadership evaluate alternatives against business objectives
• Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization’s short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing critical insights for future financial planning
• Report current and expected financial performance, create financial models, and develop new methods of analysis and presentation to guide decision-making
