Job summary

Blue Ops Partners, LLC is seeking an Associate in Chicago to focus on financial due diligence, earnings quality analyses, and data reviews within our growing M&A advisory practice. You will perform financial modeling, prepare reports, deliver client-ready presentations, and support cross-functional teams while managing multiple engagements in fast-paced environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, CPA or CFA in progress, and advanced Excel/Power Platform skills to drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Financial due diligence experience at a top firm (technology industry a plus).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related major.
• CPA or in process of obtaining license; CFA designation preferred but not required.
• Proven experience working in cross-functional environments.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Alteryx and Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial due diligence engagements from inception to completion.
• Manage and prioritize multiple deadlines for client work.
• Ensure engagement objectives are met, deliverables produced, and deadlines achieved.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and address issues.
• Execute Quality of Earnings analyses, Net Working Capital and Debt analyses.
• Analyze data to provide insights and support client due diligence with modeling.
• Generate comprehensive due diligence reports with findings and recommendations.
• Act as client contact, provide updates, and deliver presentations.
• Advise clients on business system matters with the technology team.
• Assist with growth of the practice, training materials, and proposals.
• Lead training sessions and refine client deliverables.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
