You will plan and execute financial due diligence, analyze QoE and net working capital, draft findings, manage client expectations and drive business development while traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice.
• CPA or related license/certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services or M&A.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects.
• Strong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side transactions for our client base including corporate clients, private equity groups and lenders.
• Manage engagements throughout the transaction lifecycle and coordinate other Grant Thornton capabilities.
• Serve as the day-to-day point person on engagements; lead meetings and calls with clients.
• Plan, execute, direct and complete financial due diligence for financial and strategic buyers.
• Examine & analyze client data to identify key trends, QoE adjustments and net working capital impacts.
• Draft reports to socialize findings around QoE, net working capital and business performance.
• Manage client expectations concerning timing, progress, deliverables and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships; lead business development activities.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and billing hours; mentor staff on projects.
