Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Financial Controller to own the financial performance of complex construction projects and partner with executive leadership to shape the organization’s future. This onsite role offers direct influence on profitability, forecasting, and internal controls.

You will collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting and robust financial processes, with exposure to growth opportunities within a growing construction

Qualifications

• Construction industry accounting or financial management experience required.
• Strong background in job costing, project accounting, and construction financial reporting.
• Experience with Sage 300 or similar construction-focused ERP/accounting software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and performance analysis.
• Review and monitor job-cost accounting, project profitability, revenue recognition, and work-in-progress reporting.
• Partner with operations and project management teams to identify financial risks, margin concerns, and cost overruns.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, vendor payments, and cash management activities.
• Maintain and audit financial controls, policies, procedures, and compliance processes.
• Develop management dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable business insights.
