Job summary

Oak Hill Contractors LLC is seeking a Financial Controller to own the accounting function end-to-end on site, ensuring dependable construction financial reporting and helping leadership make confident decisions.

You will lead the monthly close, manage job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, and guide budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and capital planning while coordinating with external accountants and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and %-of-completion accounting.
• Experience with construction accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, GL, and job costing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain WIP schedules and monitor projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and estimators on costs.
• Develop and manage budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and bonding partners.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff for accuracy and accountability.
