You will collaborate with operations, finance, and marketing teams to develop models, evaluate investment opportunities, and deliver executive-ready analysis through dashboards, investment memos, and board presentations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in private equity, equity research, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
Demonstrated experience building detailed financial models, completing valuation and ROI analyses.
Strong understanding of retail operations, unit economics, and growth strategies.
Proven ability guiding strategy development and implementation.
Advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, FactSet, Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to evaluate new store openings, acquisitions, and performance improvement initiatives.
Partner across teams to analyze store-level performance, customer metrics, and margin drivers.
Conduct competitive and market analysis for the retail optical sector, including pricing strategies, consumer behavior, and technology adoption.
Evaluate and interpret financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators.
Build models to assess the viability and profitability of potential investments.
Monitor and report on industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes.
Create and present executive-level dashboards, investment memos, and board presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
Support integration of newly acquired practices or retail locations by developing KPIs and financial frameworks to track success.
Partner with leadership to refine pricing, inventory, and capital allocation strategies based on analytics.
Maintain current knowledge of optical industry trends and the competitive environment.
Lead the design and implementation of strategic analyses that are complex and highly cross-functional.
Present findings and field questions from the Executive Leadership team, Board of Directors, and stakeholder groups.
