Job summary

Fielmann USA is seeking a full-time Manager of Mergers, Acquisitions & Integrations in Deerfield, IL. You will own the transaction process from opportunity through closing and transition, coordinating with Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Operations, HR, IT, Doctor Relations, and Marketing.

You will lead due diligence, coordinate cross-functional teams, and present recommendations to senior leadership to drive growth and profitability in the optics sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience; M&A/consulting experience preferred.
• Experience with retail/healthcare or related sectors is a plus.
• Strong business acumen with leadership and/or influencing experience.
• Able to analyze financial data and translate into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central deal owner for acquisitions from opportunity to closing and transition.
• Lead negotiations and coordinate internal workstreams for each transaction.
• Develop and maintain due diligence and integration plans with milestones and costs.
• Coordinate cross-functional diligence activities and track risks and mitigations.
• Present updates to senior leadership with recommendations and mitigations.
• Partner with executives to create integration strategies aligned with the operating model.
• Drive accurate financial analysis of acquisition prospects and support evaluations.
• Conduct market research on industry trends and opportunities.
• Create executive-ready investment conclusions and recommendations.
