Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Florida seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and analytical support to senior management, group logistics managers, and logistics managers.

The role covers month-end close, FP&A, cost-improvement initiatives, staff training, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, with occasional HQ visits to Coral Gables. Requires a related bachelor's, 2–4+ years in corporate finance, MBA preferred, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Related field is required.
• MBA preferred.
• 2–4+ years experience in a corporate Finance Department within a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm is required.
• 5+ years post MBA preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, intermediate level, required.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing: prepare journal entries and reclass revenue/expenses; analyze variances vs forecast/plan.
• Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities with DOO, DOS, and DOR.
• Forecasting, business planning, and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies, procedures and tools.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; conduct branch audits as needed.
• Serve as liaison with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
