Talladega College is seeking an Associate Director of Financial Aid to lead processing operations, ensure federal and institutional compliance, and provide expert counsel to students and families. The role reports to the Director of Financial Aid within the Enrollment Services division and requires hands-on oversight of ISIRs, disbursements, and SAP monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial aid, with strong knowledge of PowerFAIDS or similar systems, and a collaborative approach

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required for Associate Director position.
• Master's Degree preferred, indicating advanced education.
• 5+ years of financial aid experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee financial aid processing, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies.
• Counsel students and families regarding aid options, awards, and budgeting implications.
• Coordinate with the Business Office and other offices to monitor federal aid programs and disburse funds.
• Train and supervise FAO staff; serve on committees and participate in advocacy or professional organizations.
• Assist with reporting (IPEDS, FISAP) and accreditation-related tasks as needed.
