Job summary

Santander is seeking a Financial Advisor to identify client financial needs, understand investment objectives, and deliver comprehensive investment and insurance recommendations in line with regulatory standards.

You will conduct client appointments across in-person, virtual, and phone channels; manage a book of business; develop relationships with branch leadership; deliver needs-based planning and multi-product solutions; ensure compliance and ongoing mentorship to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Finance, Economics, MIS, Statistics or equivalent field.
• Master's Degree Finance, Economics, MIS, Statistics or equivalent field preferred.
• 5+ Years experience providing investment guidance and advice to clients.
• 5+ Years demonstrated sales achievement with high ethical standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (and related software).

Responsibilities

• Identify client financial needs and investment objectives; provide comprehensive investment and insurance recommendations.
• Conduct client appointments in-person, virtual, and over the phone to review financial goals.
• Grow assets under management and wallet share through proactive relationship management.
• Develop new client relationships through partnerships with branch leadership and licensed personnel.
• Deliver needs-based financial planning aligned with risk tolerance and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with FINRA, state, and federal regulations.
