Job summary

King & Spalding LLP seeks a Financial Systems Program Manager to lead delivery of complex financial systems initiatives. You will manage portfolios across Finance and IT, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timelines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Project Management, Business, IT, Accounting or Finance preferred.
• PMI PMP certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.
• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial systems programs and projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, scorecards, financial reporting, risk assessments, issue logs, and governance documentation.
• Manage project portfolios in partnership with Finance leadership, supporting planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio oversight.
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and practices based on project needs and complexity.
• Monitor performance, identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership, IT, SMEs, and vendors to define requirements and delivery strategies.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, milestones, and impacts to support governance and informed decisions.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and release management to ensure adoption and transition of new systems.
