Job summary

Referment is seeking a senior finance leader to join the financial analysis and reporting team in New York. You will work closely with executive leadership while staying hands-on with financial detail, shaping forecasts, and driving management reporting to support decisions across a complex investment organisation.

The role involves leading cross-functional projects, building scalable models, and improving tools and standards that underpin firmwide decisions.

Qualifications

Eight+ years in strategic finance in complex environments such as asset management or investment banking.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science or related subject.
Strong financial-modelling capability for executive-level questions and detailed analysis.
Commercial judgement with a track record of supporting senior decisions.
Clear written and verbal communication with senior audiences.
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional projects that use rigorous financial analysis to answer key business questions.
Shape and maintain financial forecasts, including budgeting and scenario planning.
Oversee recurring and ad hoc reporting for senior leaders, turning results into concise insight.
Assess drivers of revenue, expenses, capital needs and other outcomes.
Build and improve scalable models, reporting frameworks and analytical tools.
