Job summary

Grüns is seeking an Associate, Finance and Strategy to own the monthly business review, budgeting, and forecast models. You will work directly with the Head of Finance to build core financial infrastructure and enable senior leadership to make data-driven decisions.

This role operates from our remote HQ with a focus on Pacific or Central time zones, offering ownership over the numbers that drive decisions and strategic bets within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to create clear presentations for diverse audiences.
• Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT.
• SQL knowledge; experience with R and/or Python preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Monthly Business Review and OKR process end to end.
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Drive variance analysis on Opex and hold the business accountable.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve profitability.
• Identify KPIs and build update-friendly reporting materials.
• Create concise materials that accelerate reporting over time.
