Job summary

Gridmatic Inc. in California seeks a Corporate Finance Associate/Sr. Associate to build the financial infrastructure that supports its growth.

You will report to the Head of Finance and collaborate with leadership on capital strategy, investor relations, and planning that underpins our market operations. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you will build models, prepare materials, and directly impact decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, infrastructure finance, or a high-growth company finance function.
• Expert-level financial modeling skills – able to build a three-statement model from scratch and defend every assumption.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to distill complex data into clear insights.
• Familiarity with credit and collateral mechanics; energy or commodity markets experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting or leading fundraising processes, including managing data rooms and interfacing with investors.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve the corporate financial model – covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and scenario analysis.
• Translate operational and market assumptions into financial projections for executive and board decisions.
• Own model integrity: version control, documentation, and stress-testing against market conditions.
• Support debt and equity fundraising processes end-to-end – data room prep, modeling, and management presentations.
• Develop and maintain collateral, memos, and investor decks communicating Gridmatic's financial profile.
• Drive capital allocation analysis across business lines and prepare materials for internal planning cycles.
• Build frameworks to evaluate risk-adjusted returns on deployed capital across different business lines.
