Job summary

Cloudflare in San Francisco is seeking an exceptional Finance Business Partner to own the financial strategy, budgeting, and capital allocation for a major portion of the G&A footprint. You will serve as a primary financial partner to the CFO, CAO, CIO, and other senior leaders, driving high-visibility planning and execution in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of progressive corporate finance experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate development, or a closely related analytical field.
• Experience in public SaaS or multinational corporate environments with SaaS metrics and cost structures.
• Advanced financial modeling and data manipulation in Excel or Google Sheets, with complex models.
• Strong automation mindset and ability to scale processes with AI-enabled tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with senior leadership storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to translate decisions into rigorous financial plans, budgets, and headcount allocation.
• Design and implement forecasting processes leveraging AI to replace manual efforts.
• Build and stress-test financial models to guide capital allocation and vendor investments.
• Deliver board-ready monthly financial reporting and variance analysis with strategic next steps.
• Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functionally on annual and long-range operating plans for G&A.
• Create scalable, automated workflows to support rapid global growth.
• Contribute to long-range planning and market benchmarking for competitiveness.
