Job summary

Green Lion Search Group is recruiting a finance professional to support the commercial expansion of a rapidly growing energy technology company. This person will serve as the primary finance partner to growth, marketing, sales, and partnerships leadership.

You will help determine pricing, invest in customer acquisition, evaluate partnerships, and enter new markets. The role offers direct involvement in consequential commercial decisions and a substantial equity grant tied to long-term growth.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years in finance, business operations, consulting, investing, or investment banking.
• Experience developing financial models that inform pricing, growth investment, or other commercial decisions.
• Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, cohort behavior, and unit economics.
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills, with comfort in CRM, marketing, and BI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and performance analysis for customer growth, acquisition costs, conversion rates, and pricing.
• Build customer unit economics and cohort models covering lifetime value, payback periods, and contribution margins.
• Evaluate marketing spend and sales channels, guiding leaders on where to invest for strongest returns.
• Model partnership economics and market expansion opportunities, and track performance against the business case.
• Connect commercial forecasts to the corporate financial plan and use SQL, reporting tools, and AI to streamline analysis.
