Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company (AIUC) is seeking a senior operations and finance leader in San Francisco to consolidate finance, HR, legal and vendor operations. You will own the operating model, monthly close, and board reporting, while building scalable systems and controls.

You will also oversee payroll, visas, contracts and onboarding, ensuring precise numbers trusted by the board and founders. This role blends finance leadership with hands-on operational execution.

Qualifikationen

• 6–10 years of experience with a finance foundation (e.g. investment banking, PE or Big 4 accounting).
• Built from a blank page: set up ops/finance infrastructure from scratch.
• Hands-on beyond finance: payroll, visas, contracts and onboarding.

Aufgaben

• Insource and own core finance operations - map vendors, contractors and outside firms, and bring HR, legal and vendor admin in-house.
• Centralize spend and financial controls - consolidate spend, set approvals and policy, monthly close on fixed calendar.
• Own strategic finance and board reporting - build operating model, run board packs and financial analysis, flag variances with fixes.
• Build the systems layer - replace manual work with tooling, automations and new business line scaffolding.
