Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking a part-time Financial Operations Manager/Assistant Controller to oversee budgeting, accounting, and related financial processes for multiple departments reporting through the Academic Vice President. The role reports to the Academic Controller and requires strong analytical and compliance skills.

Qualifications

• Financial analysis, budgeting, general accounting, purchasing, problem-solving, and critical thinking are required.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workflows to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and forecasting for budgets.
• Assist with budget management and accounting processes.
