Axle Informatics is seeking a highly analytical Finance Operations Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision support across the organization. This role manages and develops the finance team, builds scalable tools and dashboards, and partners with leadership to optimize revenue, profitability, and cash flow.

Onsite presence is required in Tysons, VA. The role emphasizes turning data into forward-looking insights, understanding contract performance, and driving actionable

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, financial operations, or business finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a direct management or supervisory role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Proven track record of automation to streamline financial processes.

Aufgaben

• Lead budgeting and forecasting across company, business units, customers, contracts, and projects.
• Develop detailed revenue forecasts using funding, staff, rates, and utilization.
• Analyze performance vs budget and forecast; recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor margins, funding, burn rates; assess staffing and compensation decisions.
• Automate reports and models; build dashboards and KPI definitions.
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team with coaching and succession planning.
