Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder seeks a Manager of Finance and Operations to lead department finance, HR and operational policies for CINE. You will oversee budgets, staffing, and strategic planning, advising the Chair and Associate Chairs while guiding staff to deliver timely, compliant services to faculty, staff and student employees.

This role requires strong administration, fiscal management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
• 3 years of supervisory and/or leadership experience.
• 3+ years of proven experience leading complex budgets with multiple funding sources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of the department including budgets, expenditures and reporting.
• Provide strategic budget planning with the Chair and Associate Chairs.
• Supervise staff, coordinate personnel processes, and ensure policy compliance.
• Liaise with College budget offices, HR Service Center and Grants offices to align fiscal activities.
