Job summary

The Roeper School, a PK3-12 institution, seeks a Director of Finance and Operations to lead financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and operational excellence. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; supervisory experience.
• CPA or CFA designation required; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit organizations, preferably schools; GAAP knowledge.
• Strong financial analytics, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
• Proven vendor management, contract negotiation, and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for financial planning, budgeting, and accounting.
• Oversee cash flow, endowments, banking, and financial controls.
• Lead audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance for two nonprofit entities.
• Supervise payroll, HR benefits, and vendor management across departments.
• Collaborate with committees and Head of School to advance finance strategy.
