Job summary

ReadyCT is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance & Administration to oversee budgets, financial reporting, compliance, payroll workflows, and operational systems. You’ll partner with program teams to ensure grant alignment and timely reporting while supporting internship programs and organizational operations.

The role emphasizes financial stewardship, cross‑functional collaboration, and building efficient processes to advance ReadyCT’s mission for Connecticut students and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, nonprofit management, finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience building program budgets in a nonprofit environment and tracking expenses to support grant requirements.
• Preferred experience in nonprofits or organizations with braided/blended grant-funded structures, including state and federal funding.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update program budgets.
• Track expenses and discuss with program leads to keep spending aligned with budgets and grant requirements.
• Monitor compliance with federal and state program requirements.
• Prepare financial updates for internal teams and leadership.
• Manage salary allocation and timesheets with accounting contractor.
• Submit required financial reports to funders with accounting contractor.
• Provide general operational and financial support to keep the organization running smoothly.
• Coordinate payroll, reimbursements, and reporting for youth employment programs.
• Monitor compliance as per contracts and grant agreements.
