Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Strategy & Controlling Senior Specialist in Wilson, NC to lead strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and manufacturing performance management. You will deliver financial analysis and insights to support Operations and Finance decisions, driving productivity and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, business controlling, operations planning, or performance management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, KPI reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to turn data into insights.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, FMCG, and manufacturing preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, KPIs, and resource needs.
• Develop business cases, financial analyses, feasibility studies, and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and cross-functional teams to support manufacturing performance, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate budget, forecast, and planning inputs, including KPIs, headcount, productivity initiatives, and operating costs.
• Prepare monthly reporting, leadership presentations, and decision-support materials.
• Track productivity and cost-saving initiatives, monitor performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Consolidate planning submissions and support budget and long-range planning cycles.
• Analyze performance against budget and forecast, identify key drivers, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support inventory counts, controls activities, and related follow-up actions.
