Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Manufacturing Project Lead in the United States to plan, initiate and manage key manufacturing projects, focusing on quality, productivity and cost control.

You will report to the Manager Manufacturing Projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive risk mitigation, monitor performance, coach the team and build capabilities to meet long-term manufacturing objectives.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience.
  • Manufacturing background with Leadership Role (LL/BU).
  • Expertise in RTT.
  • Expertise of IM Pillar and VSU tools.
  • Practical Expertise of Key Open+ pillar (AM, PM, FI).
  • Project management knowledge.
  • Experience in FDA-regulated environment is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Manager Manufacturing Projects, ensuring alignment with production goals and strategies.
  • Collaborating with the Manager of Manufacturing Projects and team members to integrate project requirements into manufacturing processes.
  • Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies for project success.
  • Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, including senior management, clients and team members.
  • Monitoring project performance using appropriate tools and reporting progress, challenges and solutions.
  • Fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment with other project leads and team members.
  • Coaching the production project team to enhance project management capabilities.
  • Ensuring capability plans support long-term manufacturing objectives.
