Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Finance Manager to partner across the company, guiding financial reporting, forecasting, and planning to optimize investments and capital allocation for Merchant operations.

You will lead cross-functional financial analyses, model complex scenarios, and support strategic decisions that impact merchants and marketplace participants. Strong Excel and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting at a high-growth tech startup or well-established company.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets financial modeling skills.
• Basic SQL proficiency and ability to manipulate large data sets to uncover insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly reporting of financial performance of DoorDash’s Merchant business and forecast key metrics based on historical data.
• Support quarterly financial planning and collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify growth areas and priorities.
• Deep-dive into operational questions and work with Finance and non-Finance teams to drive data-driven decisions.
• Quantify opportunities and risks, propose solutions and investment cases, and ensure efficient execution.
• Leverage SQL, finance, analytics, and technology to manage reporting and quantitative analysis.
