Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager—Corporate Development to lead finance partnerships across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Business Group Finance for M&A, divestitures, and strategic investments in a public company setting.

You will ensure SOX compliance, support execution timelines, and manage post-close financial integration while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA or similar certification required.
• MBA or CFA are preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of public company reporting and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary finance liaison for Corporate Development across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance.
• Lead finance workstreams for M&A, divestitures, and strategic investments.
• Coordinate due diligence, deal structuring, and post-close integration from a financial perspective.
• Support transition services agreements and post-close accounting activities.
• Assist with earn-out inputs and tracking, plus liability of acquisition-related escrows.
