Job summary

Contoro Robotics in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Director of Finance to build and lead the finance function through the next growth phase. You will partner with the CEO and leadership to shape strategy, finance, accounting, and capital planning, while rolling up your sleeves to implement processes.

The role combines budgeting, forecasting, fundraising, and treasury with governance, controls, and systems upgrades.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive finance experience with meaningful in-house operating experience.
Experience in a startup, scale-up, or fast-moving environment.
Strong strategic finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and U.S. GAAP capabilities.
Experience in asset-intensive business with ROI focus.
Proven ability to build finance processes, systems, and models from scratch.

Responsibilities

Own budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and financial modeling.
Build economics for customers, deployments, sites, and assets including ROI and capital needs.
Partner across Commercial, Manufacturing, Engineering, Deployment, and Operations to align decisions with financial outcomes.
Apply ROI-focused thinking to spending, capital allocation, pricing, and hiring decisions.
Develop capital strategy across equity, debt, asset financing, and working-capital facilities.
Manage GAAP-compliant reporting, audits, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
