Job summary

Leading payroll, AP/AR, grants, fixed assets, and internal controls, the CFO ensures timely reporting to the Board and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA preferred; MBA preferred.
• Five years’ experience in budget, development, finance or related field.
• Knowledge of GASB/GAAP for public education finance and budgeting.
• Proficient with budget software platforms and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operating, food service and special revenue budgets.
• Lead payroll, AP/AR, grants and fixed assets processes.
• Ensure GAAP and regulatory reporting compliance.
• Coordinate audits with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support Board, county officials and regulators with financial reporting.
