Job summary

Forus, based in New York, seeks a Strategic Finance professional to scale planning, modeling, and decision‑making. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership to translate strategy into financial models and evaluate high‑impact bets.

You will span growth, product, operations, and fundraising, building frameworks for market expansion, unit economics, and long‑term strategy while operating with rigor and ownership as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or similar high‑rigor analytical roles.
• Strong financial modeling skills — comfortable building from scratch and testing assumptions.
• Ability to convert ambiguous questions into structured, actionable answers with minimal guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives, boards, and investors.
• Proven track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and delivering on goals.
• High NPS with former teammates.

Responsibilities

• Build and own financial models shaping planning, forecasting, and high‑stakes decisions.
• Partner with product, growth, and operations to define unit economics and investments.
• Analyze performance, identify drivers, and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Lead scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses for pricing, expansion, and capital allocation.
• Collaborate with CEO and leadership on new initiatives, partnerships, and fundraising.
• Design and evolve planning cadence, resource allocation, and financial discipline.
