Job summary

Ernest is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead and scale the company’s finance functions during a period of rapid growth. You will oversee Accounting, Finance, AP, AR, and Credit, while aligning financial strategy with organizational goals and building a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will mentor leaders, drive planning and forecasting, and partner with executives to evaluate investments and strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required; MBA preferred.
15–20 years in finance or accounting with 10+ years in an executive role.
Experience in high-growth organizations, ideally in distribution.
Experience leading international business units and transactions.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute financial strategies to support aggressive growth.
Lead Accounting, Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit departments.
Oversee financial planning and analysis and budgeting processes.
Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in line with regulatory standards.
Implement internal controls and risk management across financial functions.
Partner with leadership to evaluate investments and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with operations to improve profitability through analysis and process improvements.
Drive efficiency across all financial functions and mentor leadership teams.
