Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a visionary Director of Sales & Marketing for the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak, guiding a high-performing commercial team through a major renovation and rebranding. This leadership role offers the chance to shape luxury positioning in Phoenix with strong support from Crescent's resources and vast portfolio.

You will drive occupancy, lead a talented sales team, and craft strategic marketing initiatives that unlock new demand while upholding Crescent standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Director of Sales & Marketing in a luxury full-service hotel or resort.
• Recent hotel sales experience in the Phoenix market.
• Experience with rebranding, renovations, or grand openings is preferred.
• Union experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff and oversee rate, date and space commitments for group room sales.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, resolve problems, and manage discipline.
• Ensure training programs meet Crescent standards and coach staff toward improvement.
• Prepare reports for the Sales Department including annual/monthly Forecast, Marketing Budget, Lead Management System, Booking Reports, Star reports and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and develop new marketing strategies; make recommendations to improve potential from markets.
• Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients and promote Crescent programs.
• Meet with and entertain clients, some travel required.
• Create a marketing strategy plan highlighting features and target audience.
• Prepare the annual Sales & Marketing Plan and adjust plans as market conditions demand.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
