Job summary

Aeropay, a Chicago-based fintech company, is seeking a Head of Finance/CFO to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, treasury operations and overall financial strategy through a growth phase. This role partners with the CEO and executive team to drive a scalable financial infrastructure and compelling board-level narratives.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on, strategic finance leadership, 15–20 years of experience, and a track record of building robust FP&A, treasury and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• MBA, CPA or other advanced financial certification preferred.
• 15–20 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
• Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS or other transaction-intensive environments.
• Strong financial storytelling and ability to present to executives and board.
• Experience building and scaling financial operations in high-growth companies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Aeropay’s long-term financial strategy with executive leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the company.
• Create financial models and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
• Provide insights and metrics to support growth and efficiency.
• Oversee treasury, cash management and liquidity planning.
• Prepare board materials and investor communications; support fundraising.
