Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese and fluent English required.
• Advanced FP&A and management accounting expertise.
• Solid foundation in corporate tax, treasury, and transfer pricing coordination.
• Familiarity with Japanese Payment Services Act and other regulations.
• Understanding of HR, payroll, and year-end statutory reporting.
• Proven ability to manage external counsel and professional services firms.
• Strong cross-functional communication with Legal, HR, IT, Esports, and Publishing teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary financial contact for Japan, aligning local budgets with SPF processes and global planning.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow, A/P, A/R, and intercompany transactions to maintain liquidity.
• Manage tax, controllership, and audit activities with external partners and regulators.
• Provide non-financial stewardship for compliance, HR payroll, administration, and licensing.
• Establish governance cadence and report variances to global finance leadership.
