Job summary

Mars Accelerators is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial & R&D Finance to join our Chicago team. You will partner with Commercial, Procurement, R&D and Supply Chain to turn complex cost data into practical business choices and to protect margins across a diverse brand portfolio.

You will lead material-cost forecasting, model tariff impacts, and shape economics from pipeline to launch, driving productivity savings and robust financial governance across our Better For You and Tasty & Wholesome

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative field with 8+ years of progressive finance experience.
Strong operations finance and cost management foundation with experience in volume/mix analysis.
Experience evaluating product pipelines and validating cost savings with advanced modeling and scenario planning.
Proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP systems and Power BI for BI reporting.
MBA, CPA or CMA and Stage-Gate experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead material cost forecasting and performance analysis across Accelerator business units.
Develop predictive models to assess tariffs, duties and trade policy impacts.
Own financial models and margin analysis for R&D pipeline projects.
Apply standard costing, BOM and purchase-price-variance analysis for decisions.
Provide financial leadership for reformulations and packaging initiatives.
Establish governance for productivity savings and cost controls.
Create consistent reporting and strategic analysis across Commercial and R&D.
