Job summary

Mars Snacking is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial & R&D Finance to shape the financial decisions behind its next generation of snacking. You will partner with Commercial, Procurement, R&D and Supply Chain teams to turn complex financial information into practical business choices and drive cost, margin and productivity initiatives.

Based on-site at the Chicago Wells Street office with about 35% travel, you will move between detailed cost analysis and strategic conversations, influencing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; 8+ years of progressive finance experience.
Experience in cost management, volume/mix analysis, and commercial business partnering.
Experience evaluating product pipelines with strong financial modeling.

Responsibilities

Lead material cost forecasting and performance analysis across Accelerator units.
Turn tariff and supply risks into actionable choices with scenarios.
Shape innovation economics from pipeline to launch with margin feasibility.
Apply standard costing, BOM and purchase-price-variance across initiatives.
Guide reformulation and packaging initiatives balancing regulations and profitability.
Ensure productivity savings are tracked and validated against plans.
