Job summary

Pairwise is recruiting a strategic finance expert to lead product-level forecasts and data-driven analyses that shape crop prioritization and go-to-market decisions. You’ll model R&D portfolio economics and support licensing deals and collaborations, translating primary and secondary data into actionable guidance for leadership.

This role fits someone with a life sciences consulting or investment banking background, who can own analytical workstreams end-to-end and partner with strategy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, life sciences, or quantitative field.
• 4–7 years of experience in life sciences/AgTech consulting or strategy/analytics roles.
• Proven track record building product- or revenue-level forecasts and financial models.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with enterprise AI tools such as Claude.
• Experience analyzing primary and secondary data to generate business insights.
• Experience building program-, portfolio-, or deal-level financial models.

Responsibilities

• Own product-level commercial forecasts in Excel end-to-end.
• Scope and lead analytical workstreams to deadline.
• Design and execute primary research with growers, buyers, and market stakeholders.
• Analyze secondary data to size markets and map competitive landscapes.
• Synthesize findings into clear insights for strategy and commercial teams.
• Support licensing deals and research collaborations with deal economics.
