Job summary

Uber Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Summer Internship in its Strategic Finance team based at the New York City headquarters. You will support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Uber's global business, and deliver a business recommendation to the Strategic Finance Leadership team as part of the program.

You'll apply business judgment, build financial models, and help scale processes from startup to enterprise. Prior internships and GAAP/Excel knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a similar field with graduation date Winter 2027 / Spring 2028.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and experience with Excel.
• Minimum 1 year of involvement in extracurricular groups, activities, or internship opportunities.
• Preferred: FP&A, investment banking, management consulting or private equity internship experience.
• Leadership positions in extracurricular activities.
• Understanding of GAAP, enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software.
• AI readiness: interest in and comfort with AI tools and applying them to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Participate in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Uber's global business.
• Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making for new initiatives, products, and opportunities.
• Build intricate financial models from scratch, improve existing models, and break complex models into components.
• Lead or assist initiatives that help scale from startup to enterprise.
